**Karaoke Song List can also be obtained from the FOX 1470 Studios. All participants must pick songs from the pre-approved list!
You MUST be Pre-Registered to sing at the Fox 1470 Karaoke Contest!

2008 KARAOKE SING-OFF RULES
1. Employees and family members of Clear Channel Radio, other Lehigh Valley Radio stations, the Allentown Fair and those affiliated with the Karaoke Sing – Off are not eligible to win.
2. The contest is open to contestants ages 15 years and older. Contest will begin at 1pm, final sing off will be at 4pm.
3. Contest is open to individuals only, and each contestant will be judged on one song during the preliminary rounds. No group performance, back-up singers or dancers are permitted. Only pre-registered contestants may perform.
4. Finalists for the final sing off will be selected from all those singing in the preliminary contest. Those who cannot attend the finals will be disqualified
5. All judges’ decisions are final.
6. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash and are nontransferable.
7. Contestants must choose a song from the pre-selected song list!
8. Duplications of songs will be allowed for the preliminaries, but not for the finals. Numbers will be drawn to determine who picks first, second, etc.
9. Contestants will be judged on a 10 point scoring systems, with 10 being the highest score, in the following areas: Voice quality, Song difficulty, Showmanship / Stage presence, Interpretations. Each contestant will also be given a score based on overall performance with 100% being the highest score. This will be based on an average of all the judges and will be used in the result of a tie.
10. Standard Fox 1470 contest rules apply, and Fox 1470 reserves the right to change the rules at any given time
11. All contestants have been called by the Fox 1470 Promotions Department to alert them of their participation in the contest.
